Kids Helping Kids Benefit

Michael Brown Honor -Oheka Castle

The Huntington Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of the Huntington Public Schools in education, the arts and athletics. This funding affords our teachers access to educational programs that are not funded by the school budget. On Thursday March 2nd 2017, the Huntington Foundation for Excellence in Education celebrated and honored two very important people in our district and community. This year's District Honoree was Mr. James Graber. James is a beloved Social Studies teacher at the High School who also serves as the Associated Teachers of Huntington President. Our Community Honoree was Mr. Michael Brown.

      
 

Paws Event

PAWS is an independent, not-for profit organization dedicated to enriching the educational experience of West Islip students. The organization generates resources through community support to promote, sponsor and enhance learning opportunities for the children of West Islip.


       
 

Wheels For Warriors

United Way of Long Island and the Atlantic Auto Mall in West Islip announced a crucial partnership that provides veterans with the opportunity to own an affordable and reliable pre-owned vehicle, at no cost to the veteran. Wheels for Warriors is a component of United Way's Switching Gears program, which helps those that are dealing with transportation difficulties gain independence and confidence by having consistent access to a vehicle of their own.

      
 

Marisa ROHHAD

ROHHAD Fight Inc., started by the family and friends of Marisa Carney to promote awareness and fund research into the disorder. ROHHAD, an acronym for Rapid-onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Dysregulation. Mission is to expand knowledge of the rare syndrome, advance treatment, discover a cure, enhance the quality of life of the ROHHAD children and ease the financial burden of families who have children suffering from ROHHAD.

Make A Wish 2

The charitable organization of Make-A-Wish® Suffolk County, NY, has honored NY Auto Giant and Atlantic Auto Group partner and owner Michael Brown for his continuing and generous philanthropic efforts. In a touching show of gratitude, Brown was 'knighted' at Princess Nikolina's Royal Ball, granting the leukemia patient her wish of becoming a princess. Michael's generous support, along with that of NY Auto Giant and Atlantic Auto Group, has helped fulfill the Make-A-Wish® foundation's mission of granting wishes to more than 100 children with medical conditions.Make A Wish 2

The Make-A-Wish foundation honored company partner and owner Michael Brown for his philanthropic efforts. Brown has been with the Atlantic Auto Group/New York Auto Giant family since joining in April 2007 as Vice President of Operations. Active in the community in a number of ways, Brown served on the Huntington Hospital Board of Trustees and its Audit and Compliance Committee for seven years. He has also been honored by organizations other than the Make-A-Wish foundation, including Big Brothers and Sisters and the Diocese of Rockville Centre's Telecare operation.

The newly crowned Miss Latina LI, Roxannie Rodriguez, will be presented with a new car, courtesy of the Atlantic Hyundai.
